Dead Men Can’t Scream!
This is currently available in 750mL bottles as a test batch, the brewer actively seeks feedback. A larger batch will begin brewing in May.
Alcoholic bottle conditioned Ginger beer.
Ingredients: Water, Unpasteurized Honey, Dry and Fresh Ginger, Green Tea, Mace, Cloves, Lemon zest, Peppercorn, cinnamon, yeast.
6.2% alcohol by volume
This spicy brew is actually what is called a metheglin or a spiced mead. Based on the song “Burial at Sea” by doom legends Saint Vitus, the brew is what I feel like a swashbuckling horde of skeletons would have drank in the good old days when such things were still quite common in the world.
With spices brought in from the four corners of the world; Ginger from Africa, green tea from China, honey from Ontario, Lemons from California and a host of other flavours, this powerful spicy yet slightly sweet brew will bring lost horizons suddenly near! Also good for a hot day on the deck of a gruesome phantom ship.
